Lost & Found Can anyone bring my left-behind diary from O Cebreiro?

Hello all,
I have been documenting my camino in a very sentimental diary and I have left it in the O Cebreiro Xunta albergue. Luckily the albergue has found it, but I am hoping the camino will provide a little miracle to get it back to me. Is anyone there now/will be soon and could pick it up and bring it to Santiago? Ideally I could meet you in Santiago on May 7th but I am flexible and could make other days work!
Additionally, if anyone has other ideas on how to get it back I am very grateful for them!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

OK so.... I stupidly enough left 2 socks in one of the albergues. stupidly because they were 1 Merino and 1 Injiinjii and both for left foot. That pretty much rendered the remaining socks "in-operable"
I knew where I left them (San Miguel in Hospital de Orbigo). I called @arturo garcia and told him where I was staying "next". He dispatched the socks via JacoTrans to that albergue, where they promptly waited for me when i walked in. I nicely placed E5.00 (going rate at the time) into an envelope which was left with sock that had applicable note and they (Jacotrans) picked it up the following morning.
See if that works for you - hopefully folks in O Cebreiro Xunta will be just as helpful as Arturo ❤️
Good luck

Thank you very much, I will ask them if they are willing to do that! I appreciate the response.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

You have better luck than me and a better idea.

I left two pair of my favourite merino, expensive socks on the line at one albergue and phoned that night but the hospitaleros attitude was basically"tough break","next time don't forget them ".

A powerful lesson for me.

Where are you now re your problem? It looks to me that you need to be really proactive here. Can you ask someone, unless you are able to speak yourself, in Spanish, to arrange with the forwarding luggage people, and in tandem with the albergue where you left it, to send the diary to your accommodation in Santiago? Or, to Ivar in Santiago? This assumes that you will have a way to pay for the transfer of the item. I am sorry for the problem you have and look forward to hearing that it has been resolved.

They will...they do this sort of thing all the time.
I found that the Xunta albergues in Galicia don't have hospitaleros in the traditional sense. At least when I stayed at O Cebreiro a Xunta employee was there in the afternoon/evening to collect money and assign beds, but not much more. But that was in 2016, do perhaps things are different now.
