What would be the proper size dry bag to bring into the shower..IYO

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

There is no protocol. Think about what you want to keep dry but within sight - i.e. your phone, cash and documents, and some clothing to put on in the privacy of the shower stall. If you don't want to let your dirty clothes get wet, then they will also need to be protected. As posted above, a plastic grocery bag or two usually is fine.

One that is sufficiently large to contain anything you want to bring into the shower, but don’t want to get wet.

If you want to set out a list of the former, we could have hours of fun estimating the size of the necessary bag.

I’m not trying any harder than usual to be funny, but; honestly - do you really need anyone else’s opinion?

I use just a small nylon cinch bag with the draw string that will hang on a hook in the shower. That's always been one of the benefits of traveling with somebody they watch your stuff while you shower and you watch theirs when they shower. I've never walked solo so I'm a bad one to give advice.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

I carry ONE 8 liter sea to summit dry bag. Walking, it carries my fleece sleep sack, inflatable pillow and all spare clothes. To fly it carries all that plus my Black Diamond carbon Z trekking poles which I have NEVER checked (even flying from Santiago). In albergue, I empty it to use as shower dry bag. It carries my moneybelt with all documents, credit cards and cash, cell phone, small bottle liquid soap, plus dry clothes. Its handle loops over hooks/knobs and/or use small wire S hook for over shower door. Could be used for small grocery bag, but if I am out to buy a few bottles of wine plus food for communal dinner, I just use my rucksack (which would be nearly empty by now anyway). Toothbrush, paste, floss, chapstick loaded with solid deodorant goes in small ziplock in the dry bag or leave on sink. Always multipurpose and minimize your gear.

Osprey Stuff Pack this is not necessarily a dry bag, but I use it to and from the shower. I hang it from the shower door. It has a little pocket on the inside where I can put my passport, wallet, and phone in a plastic bag. I put my clean clothes (dry bag 1 blue), and toiletry kit inside. My dirty clothes go in after showering (dry bag 2 black). I use dry bag 2 black to wash my clothes in.

I also use it to go to the market, stuff my puff jacket in it when I go out etc. It is the size of the palm of my hand when stuffed into it's own pocket.

I use a semi-sturdy plastic grocery bag from home with handles and add my S-hook to it in the shower. It contains my all-in-one shampoo/shower soap, a small brush for hair, my waist bag with all my important valuables, and clean clothes...easy peasy.
