Way to go!!

the camino seemed never ending. . And perhaps it isn't.

perhaps the Camino is Rilke-like: you will have to live the question now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.

Finally here. I know I haven't walked the million miles other have.. but for me it has been an achievement, which at several points I thought I'd give up; the camino seemed never ending. . And perhaps it isn't.

Congrats.

Buen (planning your next) Camino

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Isn't it a wonderful feeling. And I have to warn you that I thought I would never desire to walk another Camino after completing my first CF. I am shortly to set off on my forth Camino. Congratulations.

However I've passed through some beautiful places I may need to return to with more time to properly enjoy. All in all I feel overwhelmed.. both by the camino/my journey (horrid hackneyed phrase).. and the glory of Santiago

Congratulations!! Your words really ring so true with me, it's something I certainly thought when I arrived in Santiago the first time (also from the English route). And I suspect for you the Camino won't end. Hopefully you'll get to come back again and again! Buen (future) Camino!!

well done, Anna. No prizes for guessing how you feel. I am arriving on Sunday, 20 March at 8.30 pm at the airport. I simply am so happy and free. Buen Camino, :) Caesar

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

My first Camino was the Ingles. I have walked a few times since and even slipped in a cheeky revisit to the Ingles last year. That first one still remains very special to me and changed my life. Returning last year brought back so many memories and was just as joyful. Congratulations on your achievement. Enjoy the wonderful feelings you are having right now.

All of us who walk into Santiago de Compostela whatever our reasons or beliefs share similar quickened emotions upon arrival. The weight of history is so great with the accumulated layers of centuries, both visible and invisible. One can see much and also feel or imagine even more such as hordes of past pilgrims following the same timeless route towards the cathedral. ...Celebrate your achievement and cherish your memories!

I try to live by the saying "its not the destination, but the journey"
We too are walking the Ingles and although its not the 800 km of the Frances, it will still be a huge undertaking for my husband and me, if not for our kids as well :)
