Encouraging quotes for walking the Camino

Time of past OR future Camino
May/June (2017)
Awhile back I remember reading some uplifting and encouraging quotes for walking the Camino. Today I saw this one on a FB site and it reminded me I should have written the other ones down to carry along with me (we leave April 24 and start April April 27).
The one I saw today was referencing walking the Meseta: "In Castilla, the landscape is in the sky." ..Antonio Machado
I plan on bringing them along and each day use my "quote of the day" to think on and help me along. I've done this before on long multiple day bicycle rides and it helps. Why I didn't get this started sooner is my fault...life has been crazy but on the 24th it's about to get simpler :)
Some I have used before:
-Sometimes the pain of giving up can be worse than the pain of going on (maybe for over the Pyrenees)
-Sky above me, earth below me, fire within me
-Focus on how far you've come, not how far you have to go
-Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go...T.S.Elliot
-ALways do what you are afraid to do...Ralph Waldo Emerson

Doesn't really tick the box as a quote of course. But I find John Bunyan's 'Who would true valour see' also known as 'To be a Pilgrim' written 1684 inspiring. Various Musicial interpetations can be found on the web.

1 Who would true valour see,
let him come hither;
one here will constant be,
come wind, come weather;
there's no discouragement
shall make him once relent
his first avowed intent
to be a pilgrim.

2 Whoso beset him round
with dismal stories,
do but themselves confound,
his strength the more is.
No lion can him fright:
he'll with a giant fight,
but he will have the right
to be a pilgrim.

3 Hobgoblin nor foul fiend
can daunt his spirit;
he knows he at the end
shall life inherit.
Then, fancies, fly away;
he'll not fear what men say;
he'll labour night and day
to be a pilgrim.

I need to follow this thread, I quite like these 2 quotes

- "every journey starts with one step"
- " live, love, explore"

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I like this one:
"If it's both terrifying and amazing then you definitely should pursue it. "
~ Erada

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
