I'm as disappointed as VNwalking!
Couldn't you make one up?
You know I'm not aloud to tell fibs. Everyone, yes, including you, would be ever so cross and never trust me again.
Regards...(Just saw return Brisbane to Paris for A$982)
Gerard.....(Should I?)

Rhetorical question, right?
And please include details....hubby just suggested last night that we should meet our 14-year-old son in Kuala Lumpur (hubby's home town) on son's way back from India next year (now that's a cheap flight - India to Malaysia NZ$91!), because it is so cheap to get there....but your flight is much better value!!!

And on Etihad too. I was thinking maybe spring Caminoing, but not too early.
Late March arrive, stay a couple of months, home late May, do several shorter Caminos working my way north as summer approaches. Start with Portuguese, Finisterre, Rive, Canterbury. Maybe even one of the German ones if it gets too hot, Baltica or Regina.
Hope the link is ok as drongo Gerard can't post photos/screenshots.
Regards
Gerard

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

The exhibition has been extended to April 24th. We did a small writeup in our blog:

Exhibition “Master Mateo” in the Museo del Prado

I should mention, though, that I did visit it and it's a relatively small exhibition: only two rooms. It has several statues made in Master Mateo's workshop, which used to be in the western façade of the cathedral, and have been dispersed in museums, private collections, etc. since said façade was destroyed in the XVIII century. It also includes the statue that was discovered last October, during the cathedral's remodeling work.

In other words, it's not exactly the biggest exhibition of the world. Neverthless, I'm sure those those interested in the cathedral's history will find it worthwhile. And of course, you can't go wrong spending a day in the Prado Museum...

Hello all. Here to give a brief account of my (and many others) first day on the Camino on May 1. The trip to Roncesvalles was tough. I went Valcarlos route because napoleon was very ill advised...
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
If you’re walking the Camino Portugues right now I’d recommend you avoid the complementario route into Pontevedra. While it is quiet and green and follows the river, it’s also a muddy mess. I...
I struggle with social anxiety and I was wandering if anybody with the same issue had a positive experience on the Camino walking alone. I saw lots of posts and videos people talking about forming...
