Hello out there,fellow forum folk,
My name is Adele. I,m Australian ,am54 years old and plan to walk the Camino from Roncavelles around 22nd October in 2007.I have some questions and will ask them over time. A big one is how is the weather at this time of year and what shoes/boots to wear? what are the surfaces of the roads walked on?Where do I register for the walk?Any advice is gratefully accepted. You do not need to register to walk the camino, but you need a pilgrim’s passport if you want to stay in albergues and get the diploma at the end. You will find a lot of useful information here:

Hello, if you are in Sydney there is a group of "have done and will do" that meets every second month for lunch in the Spanish Quarter. It's a great get-together and a wonderful way to talk it over and ask questions. The next will be December 2. If you would like the details email me.
