Camino Frances - Leon to Santiago (2015)
Camino Madrid/Salvador/Primitivo (2017)
I'm sure many of you have seen my numerous threads over the past few days, as I've tried to get as much information as possible before setting out on my journey. Hiking the camino has always been on my bucket list, but I had resigned myself to not being able to do it until at least 2017 due to school and work commitments. Lo and behold, I won a free plane ticket anywhere in the world during a contest last month and decided to just go for it. I will be setting out from Leon on March 22nd and arriving in Santiago on April 1st. I have patched together my equipment from various sources, speak less than a dozen words of Spanish, and have never hiked this distance before, but I absolutely cannot wait to tackle the challenge (and meet new people along the way)!
