Is it necessary to take a light jacket for the Camino Frances in early June ? I am taking a light fleece pullover and rain poncho. I don't want to take a jacket if it is not necessary.

Any information on what clothing to take at the beginning of June would be great. thanks

You can always use the poncho as an extra layer in the evenings, not elegant, but who cares? Yes, leave it at home. Buen Camino, SY

No need for a light jacket. The fleece will be fine. Maybe throw in a long sleeve tech shirt to wear under it on chillier evenings. Little more practical than walking around in a poncho when it's not raining.

I would recommend a very light wind jacket <5 oz with DWR (water repellant, but not watetproof). It's the single most versatile garment I carry. I like the Patagonia Houdini, but others also exist of similar qualities.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
