So I have had a lovely walk today arriving in muxia. Does anyone know if the route from muxia to Finisterre has bars / cafes etc or should I carry all my snacks, also is it a nice route ?

Hi, Scubajunky,
The nicest part of the walk from Muxia to Finisterre is, IMO, a little detour off the camino out to the beach at Lires. The camino goes through the hamlet of Lires, where there is a bar/cafe, but there is a well marked turn to the right to get to the beach. There is a very nice bar there, too. Then there is no backtracking, just continue along the water for a while and you will make your way back to the camino. You can actually get to that bar without backtracking coming from either direction, well marked in both directions. Buen camino, Laurie

Laurie, I never went to the beach and bar when I stayed overnight in Lires at Casa Raul! Do you believe it??
But it does give me something to look forward to when I take that walk again, as I will!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

There is not much on the road route to Cee; a couple of pensions that may not be open for food and coffee.
Ahm, falcon, actually there is a lot of everything on the "road" route to Cee either way you go/drive, but the OP question wasn't at all about that (and in quoted scubajunky's post neither). So what was it that you wanted to say???

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
