I will be leaving for my first Camino in 9 days. Not just my first Camino but my first time over seas, my first time away from my family for this length of time and my first time doing anything of this magnitude in my entire life. I will be doing the Camino Frances starting from SJPDP and there have been several times that I have wanted to jump on here and ask a ton of questions but, without doing that, I have received all the answers thru this forum. What I do best is stress out over the unknown but as the trip gets closer and closer I am really trying to have the mind set that it is going to be what it is going to be. I have tried to train but with a full time job and all the other responsibilities of my life - it's hard to find the time. I've been planning this since last August and yet I still feel unprepared. I am so excited, nervous and ready to shut down, unplug and just walk - but not before thanking all of you for all of your wonderful comments and all the support that I have seen all of you give others like me who have doubts, questions and fears. Bag is packed (and re-packed and probably re-re-packed before I leave) and I am looking forward to meeting some of you along the trail.
Buen Camino!
