Hi - i am leaving from Pobena tomorrow and walking to Castro Urdiales - does anyone know of an operator who will take my bag for me?
( are there any other options?
Thanks
Nick

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Nick, what was wrong with the providers listed in the answers in your previous thread?

I used the " petty bag" as far as Lezamo and the guy told me he wouldn't take it onto Bilbao - I didn't realize the "petit bag" was part of greencartransport ( which I'd completely forgotton about)
Sorry for being so stupid and having such a poor memory

The fun and challenges of the road less travelled...I hope you're enjoying your Camino so far, and that it's smooth sailing the rest of the way.

Thanks Smallest_Sparrow - just arrived in Castro Urdiales , soaking wet and 3.5 hours before albergue opens------- but there's nowhere else I'd rather be right now - this is it for the time being

Pretty walk though (she said wistfully, trying not to give in to envy)...when I think about the Norte, breathtaking and wet compete to come out of my mouth. Bed bugs have been reported in Comillas (you may have noticed), and personally I took the alternative coastal route between pendueles and llanes to check out the Bufones.
Ok, now envious. Really envious. :D
Buen Camino and stay warm and dry

Similar question.

Does anyone know if a luggage transfer company, for the Via de la Plata?

From Zamora to S de C?

The Correos don't operate on this section

When I walked it this spring, I only saw advertisement of more local transport offers, typically the next 2-3 stages. So yes, it might be possible, but you will need to be able to organize it yourself from time to time (f.e. with a taxi). Buen camino, SY

in case this is needed, I also found this company online...don't know how the prices compare, but it looks like they cover the norte (as well as many other routes)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi Nick
We used Tuitrans taxi transfer service who were very professional and reliable but expensive for the 120km. www.tuitrans.com. We found that in hindsight a lot of the hotels will transfer your luggage ahead for €5.00 each day?

I use Alltrails a lot here in the US, in Iceland, on the Via Podiensis and a bit on the CF. Will it be useful on the Norte? For example, people here say the "warm up" from Biarritz to Irun (or...

Tomorrow I fly to Bilbao to start my 5th stint on the Camino. I did the Frances in three parts (2016, 2017 and 2022). Last year I did the Portuguese from Porto. I did the first 200 km of the...
