Sending spare bag forward

From other threads, I notice Express Burricot have a service to send your spare luggage from SJPdP direct to Santiago for 70 Euros for up to 20kg - sent to Hostal La Salle in Santiago for collection. Can anyone tell me if there may still be Spanish customs issues with this service which I have read on other posts? Does 70 Euros sound fair in comparison to using say the post office services and sending luggage to Ivar for storage? I expect our spare bag might be 5 - 10 kgs maximum. We will also have an opportunity in San Sebastian to send it on within Spain - avoiding any custom issues (using what service though??) before we head to SJPdP to commence our camino. Thanks in advance:)

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

For ease and cost I'd send to Ivar from San Sebastian's post office. With your weight listing above the cost to ship and store in SDC will be cheaper and if you email Ivar a few days prior to arrival he'll even arrange to have your bag at your hostel, assuming that one is in the old city. Buen Camino!

Thanks for your quick replies and advice! All this planning....can't wait to be walking...soon, very soon.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I've used Ivars storage twice. 20-25 euros for a large duffle bag. I will be sending a bag to him again in a couple weeks! It's such a treat to arrive in Santiago and have fresh clothes waiting!

Is that the cost to send it to Ivar or the storage cost? Which service do you use to send it to Ivar? Thanks!
