Dear all,

I'm please to inform you that I will be starting the Camino in a week's time.

I have packed by bags for fun to make sure that everything fits and has a place where to stay. Could you please suggest last minute things which are often overlooked. I think Im set though.

Also, If anyone is starting the camino next week, pleased to meet you and hope to meet you on the way.

Love,
Karl :D

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi Karl,

I'm the same as you starting the camino next week. Will be arriving in St. Jean on the 26th & either heading off straight away or staying overnight & heading up the mountains on the 27th. Like you, I'm trying to think of anything I might have forgotten but hopefully having made several packing lists I should be set. No doubt if I have forgotten anything I can pick it up along the way. I wish you well on your journey & depending on your route might even meet up somewhere on the journey.

Best wishes,

Dave

Hi Karl,
We too will be starting next week. We leave Canada on March 27th to fly to Paris arriving on the 28th. We fly to Barittz on the 29th and start walking on the 29th or 30th. We will be following in your pathway and maybe we might meet up. Hope to see you enroute. A suggestion we got from a former pilgrim was to bring a sink plug as there were few plugs which made it difficult to do laundry. We have a circular heavy piece of plastic which we will place over the drain. One size fits all.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
So glad to hear that you will be doing the camino during the same time as me. I will be in St jean on the 28th and will head out on the 29th. Im using brierly's guide book but i think ill take an easier pace so I think I will cross you path at some point. See you soon. hope you're managing to sleep because im not with all the excitement.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
