Swimming pools

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

¡Hola!
I’m wondering where on the camino frances are albergues with swimming pools. Preferably at cheap hostels or albergues. Do you know about any?
Thanks in advance:)
I’ve swum in pools at
- the albergue at Muruzabal (a wonderful place: the pool is just the icing on the cake)
- albergue Cuatro Cantones in Belorado
- the big modern Casa de Peregrino in El Acebo (also has a spa, but indoor and not so fancy)
- the modern Albergue at the edge of Barbadelo.
I also splurge on a spa hotel in Leon (hotel Q!H or Spa Paris) or Astorga (Hotel Spa Bia de la Playa) most times...a little more pricy but worth it as a treat.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
It's also worth noting that some of the bigger towns and cities have municipal pools. It's easy to check this on google maps when you're walking - just put 'piscina' the search box.

I know there are two Albergues in Belorado with Pools.
I stayed at the Albergue Cuatro Cantones - Calle Hipólito López Bernal 10, 09250 Belorado.
Lotsa fun in the pool with my two young nephews, altho their big noisy "Bombs" elicited glares from some pilgrims who were seated outside and enjoying a peaceful, relaxing time.
As the philosophers say, "Sometimes....life is suffering."
The other one is the Albergue de Peregrinos A Santiago - Camino Los Paules s/n, 09250 Belorado.

A few years back someone drew up a list of pools (Public as well). If you dig into the search function you might find it.
Regards
Gerard

I missed the one in El Acebo but stayed at Barbedelo and the pool was really good. Had one too many white wines I seem to remember and the morning walk to portomarin the next day was a slog. Stay there if you get the chance
