Walk The Way with me in 6 minutes

Wishing you were back on the Camino? Well, don't we all. In the meantime, you can walk The Way with me in 6 minutes. I put together shots of the route itself from every one of my 46 days between St. Jean Pied de Port and Santiago. A couple of shots were taken looking behind me, but still in order. (I knew that sharp-eyed pilgrims would notice this.)

The music is Across the Great Divide, sung by Nanci Griffith, followed by a version sung by me with my ukulele. This became my theme song for my journey as I thought about my own “great divide,” what lies behind me and what lies ahead.

I carried my ukulele the entire way and so enjoyed singing with others. Most popular songs: Let It Be and Imagine by the Beetles, and Country Roads by John Denver.

Ultreya!

I never ever get tired of seeing the photos other folks have taken of the Camino! Thanks for reminding me of Nanci Griffith as well; I haven't listened to her music in a long while! (Maybe time to start again...!)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

It was great. So many photographs matched my own. It was great to see you all trudging through the rain with your capes on just as we did.
Someone said "Tears are flowing". I think that's a bit harsh, you're singing wasn't that bad................

Wonderful, Seabird! Thank you for sharing the photos, perfect music, and your journey. Inspiring...
