Hi All

I walked the Camino Frances in May 2008 and am planning to walk the Via in March 2010 from Seville. What will the weather be like and will all the refugios be open that time of year?

Thanks,

Bill

Hello,

We, also, walked Camino Frances, Via del Norte, Chemin du Piémont Pyrénéen and Eze (Monaco) -Roma. We shall also be starting our third Camino from Seville on March 9th 2009.
We tend to go till Salamanca and leave the rest for 2011.
So, looking forward to meeting you somewhere....http://www.stjacques.fr

In 2008 early March the weather was perfect, then in mid/late March there was a lot of rain. Albergues were open.

We choosed that period since we do not like to hike under too much "calor".
When we arrived on Camino Frances, at the beginning of april 2006, after having walked 1100kms from home, and despite the fact that we live between Nice and Monaco, i mean that we are used to live with hot temperatures, we felt uneasy with the climate.
We have thought that being in a more southern area of Spain, at the same period (april) we would have to suffer more from the heath.
So let's cross fingers and think positive, i.e. imagine those spring flowers "fluttering and dancing in the breeeze" ...
