my husband and I are doing the VDLP starting mid September this year, we only have 5 weeks( due to work commitments :( ) including travelling time to and from the UK, we are good fit walkers but think we would struggle to complete it all without making it a route march.
any good suggestions on which parts to bus? :) :)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

This is a beautiful route and I wouldn't suggest missing any of it, but if you really have to then there is a good bus service between Salamanca and Zamora. Not so good, but adequate, between Zamora and Ourense. Both follow the camino, more or less so you get to see some of what you are missing.

There is probably a good service between Puebla de Sanabria and Ourense but I have never checked it out. Try Monbus, though I think the bus from Zamora is probably Alsa and will probably/possibly stop in Puebla de S.
