The roof top tours are wonderful and am glad that they are available. I'm scared of heights but it was so well worth it. As usual, a totally different perspective offered within the Camino. We are currently in Lalín on our way to Santiago. Are the rooftop tours still available? I read somewhere that perhaps the roof is being restored and tours are not available. We will be there this Saturday, September 16!

I went to the cathedral site and didn’t see this tour. Can anyone point to where you can reserve tickets? Thanks! The roof top tours are wonderful and am glad that they are available. The rooftop tour is definitely a different and wonderful perspective of the Camino. I loved doing it twice; my first one in 2015 was in English, thankfully. The second time in 2017 it was only offered in Spanish for the timeframe I needed so I didn't understand a word said, but the views can be fully appreciated anyway as they "speak" for themselves. The roof top tours are wonderful and am glad that they are available. Well, that would be very interesting to see. Do you have a picture to share? The night time tour is amazing. Only in Spanish but you see so much with fewer people inside.
Nice!Sure. They also take you into the altar area.
It’s only an indoor tourNice!
Can you see much of the city lit up in lights when they take you up on the roof for viewing?
I did it in May ! Worth it absolutelyWe are currently in Lalín on our way to Santiago. Are the rooftop tours still available? I read somewhere that perhaps the roof is being restored and tours are not available. We will be there this Saturday, September 16!

You have to ask a ticket for La torre de Carraca
I’m not entirely sure but certainly more than 2. It seemed perhaps like 8. Be sure that person does not have balance issues as well. She or he will be going up slanted steps while on the roof. How many flights of stairs are required on the rooftop tours of the cathedral? Not a problem for me, but I will be meeting a non-pilgrim in Santiago who might find it difficult to ascend stairs for more than two floors or so of height.
