Annie - Wiktoria and her boyfriend (fiance?) David have resurrected it. I'm not sure if they have the old premises but they seemto be focussing on taxi services - Santiago to Sarria 120euro for up to 4 people - and hotel accommodation.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Yes, Wiktoria and David are now running it. They are a couple, but as far as I know not engaged (unless something happened over easter!):)

They do not have the same office I had, they will be trying to run it as a "virtual" business. You can contact them by e-mail or phone only.

They can be contacted here: http://caminotravelcenter.com/

I am no longer involved directly... but will be cheering on from the sidelines!

Saludos,
Ivar

Hello everyone!

This is Wiktoria here. Yes, finally Camino Travel Center is reopening. After many troubles the Camino Travel Center is "alive" again.

Thanks a lot to Sillydoll for posting about us.

As Ivar told, now we are running our office virtually so the old address at Rua de San Pedro 33 is no longer available. I could see that now at Rua de San Pedro 33 there is a jeans store, so please be careful and do not send your parcels there :)

The luggage storage service is now run by the Pensión Badalada.

Our main services this year are:
- accommodation along the French Route, especially the last stages in Galicia from Sarria to Santiago
- transport from Santiago's airport to the starting point on the Camino (both taxi and private buses for groups)

Soon we will make our website nicer and will try to offer more products.

Oh, and of course, about the people in charge... indeed now it is David (let's stick to the "boyfriend" thing) and me.

For more questions and doubts please check our website http://www.caminotravelcenter.com and/or send us an e-mail.

Buen camino to everyone!

Wiktoria

Wiktoria and David,

Great news! All the best regards as you continue a venture that brings the Camino from the realm of whimsy to reality for so many peregrines.

Buen “now where did I put my backpack” Camino

Hello, so my plans have slightly changed after completing the Coastal Portuguese and Finisterre/Muxia caminos on June 13. I now have 2 extra days in Santiago and was wondering where I should head...
The Santiago pilgrim office issued 3,171 Compostelas today. The second time so far this year when the total has been over 3,000. The first was on Good Friday when 3,193 Compostelas were handed out.
Hi my name is Bren I have started a daily AA English speaking meeting At 3Rua da Porta da Pena Casa Anglicana 6-7pm daily. Spread the word
