Hello guys, I have a question about the Compostella, I did Sarria- Santiago last year, I did SJPDP to Logrono earlier this month, I plan to do Logrono-Sarria next May and skip Sarria- Santiago as I done it before. Would I still be able to obtain a compostella in Santiago for this as i skipped the last bit? I could bring my credential from last year to prove I have done Sarria to Santiago.

I plan to go then from Santiago to Finisterre.

Gracias Amigos.

You only get a Compostela if you walk the last hundred kms of any of the routes with two stamps per day. Doesn’t matter how far you walked before that. If you didn’t get one last year you can still get it if you take your credential from last year’s trip. There is also a certificate from Santiago to Finisterre.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Of any of the routes that finishes in Santiago!!!

Not only Fisterrana but also Muxiana if you walk to Muxia. If you walk Santiago to Fisterra/Muxia (or vice versa) you can get both but you have to get the sello in Lires which is approx.half way between.
You can also walk Fisterra/Muxia (combined or vice versa) to Santiago and get the Compostela!

Buen Camino!

Oh great , thank you for the info. I will get the certificate going to fisterra from Santiago. I do not wish to do Sarria to Santiago again after doing it last year as it is a bit crowded.. I loved the section between SJPDP and Logroño

Hola Peter, yes, bring your previous credential that proves you walked Sarria to Santiago and get your Compostela at the Pilgrim's Office once you arrive in Santiago.

Then when you walk to Finisterre, get your Fisterrana there. Have a very Buen Camino!
