Travelers from anywhere in the world who present a valid vaccination certificate, with full vaccination against COVID-19 with the use of an approved vaccine, do not require an essential reason to travel and are exempt from quarantine requirements. Vaccinated travelers are subject to systemic antigen or PCR testing on arrival. Exemptions also apply to travelers who have received a vaccine booster after a one-dose vaccine.
You can get a COVID-19 test in Paris, Madrid and Santiago or in other towns on the Camino https://www.synlab.com/coronavirus-tests
If you test positive in France and you are fully vaccinated (with the booster, required for the COVID certificate, you must isolate for 7 (full) days after the day symptoms started or the day they tested positive.
If you come into close contact with a positive person and are fully vaccinated (booster required for the COVID certificate) you no longer have to quarantine.
However, you must:
strictly adhere to protective measures, particularly wearing a mask inside and outside; and limit contacts with others
Additionally, you must do an antigen or RT-PCR test as soon as you find out that you are a close contact, then a self-test on day 2 and day 4 after you were last in contact with the person who tested positive. Where to buy home test kits. https://www.thelocal.fr/20220110/co...france-how-to-use-where-to-find-and-how-much/
If a self-test is positive, it must be confirmed by an antigen or RT-PCR test. (PCR tests costs ± €44)
If this test is positive, you are infected and must isolate. Some insurance companies have a list of vaccination facilities, some hotels have dedicated rooms for positive guests who are tested positive while staying with them, and the Dept of Health will also advise you on where to isolate – at your own expense.
