Y'know, I'm enjoying 30+ degrees in Goa with palm trees and all that, but reading posts like this makes me pine a bit for a good helping of Camino....!

I'm off today for the Camino Frances from Ponferrada. I'd like to wish all Forum members a very happy and peacefilled New Year when it comes.
How is it going? What is open?

Hi Johnnie, fae a very cold and snowy Markinch.
I am with you in spirit (last night it was "Oban").
Over my years of wandering I have often pondered on why some enterprising soul hasn't invented dehydrated whisky for folks like us.
Stay strong and enjoy yourself.
Yours Aye

What an experience Johnnie, the camino being white of snow. Great pics...
I want to get back on the track as soon as possible.

Hello Johnny,

I have just been reading your blog and have seen the video.
Beautifull! Have you ever saw so much snow as this time? And what will be your next adventure?
I enjoyed it.
Glad you arrived to santiago safe.

many greetings from Holland

Outstanding blog, johnny! I can see you walking up the Way through all that snow. The journalist's objectives seem to fit most of them, only seeking the bad. It is a shame that they don't report on the good things. You handled that situation with great aplomb.

You continue to inspire me. Thank you.
