For non-techies, if you do a google search for "google translate Galician to English," you get a tool for translating articles like this one. Use the arrows to make sure that "Galician" is in the left column. Copy a couple of paragraphs from the article (control+c) and paste it into the "Galician" side where it says "Enter text" (control+v), and it will provide a decent translation with only an occasional improbable passage.

Or select 'Websites' to open up a dialog box where you can insert a copied link to the page, and do it all at once.

Google Chrome will also do this. On the page, bring up the context menu with the cursor somewhere on the page, and select Translate to English (assuming that is the language set in the browser settings).
