Mailing Postcards to the US, tips and cost?

Hello Camino Friends. I fly out on the 12 of June to start the walk. I want to send a series of post cards to my 4 year old nephew as I traverse CF. I'm not concerned about buying postcards, but what is the easiest way to get stamps and post them back to the
US? Should I hit up a post office and just buy a book of stamps (or Spain's equivalent)? What is the cost of a post card to the US?

Thanks for the help!

Edit: I found this on the Correos website. Looks like a great idea. Maybe I'll look up digital options.

I think Correos is Camino friendly!

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Stamps can also be purchased at "tobacco" shops which are plentiful in all cities! Probably not nice ones like Correos will have… but if you need stamps in a pinch, it's another option.

Great idea! Maybe he'll be inspired to walk the Camino himself at some point down the road.

Buen Camino!

If you have a smartphone you might try the TouchNote app. Take and edit your own pictures, upload them with a message and address and they are printed and mailed locally. We've used them from India, Italy and France and are impressed. You load you account with credits before you go and can top up as you go along.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

I found this app after making this post and purchased a few credits to give them a try. I think this might be the best thing to do. I figure if I buy the 40 credit package and put my own pictures it will even be more cost efficient than buying postcards in Spain and then mailing them directly.

Certainly our grandchildren enjoyed post cards with granny and grandad in them.
