I had read a similar idea but with just a single strand. I found this to be too flexible. Braiding together 3 strands should solve this problem. Thanks. By the way, altho the single strand did not work well as a clothesline, I found it great for compressing my sleeping bag/quilt and keeping it compressed in my pack!
