Santiago late arrival

Hi, All!

I will be flying into Santiago to begin my Camino and arriving too late to catch the bus to Lugo and from there on to start in Sarria, so I plan to stay the night in Santiago. Any suggestions on where I could make a reservation to stay over that would be close enough to walk to the bus station the next morning?

Hola - hostal la salle, hostal Linares, hostal Deniké, hostal casa Felisa are all up at that end of town. Within 10 mins of the bus station

Hostal / Hotel LaSalle is also, coincidentally where Express Bourricot stores their transferred luggage from St. Jean Pied de Port securely. Arriving pilgrims retrieve their shipped luggage from there. I have used this service twice.

I mention this to suggest you can deposit whatever you bring that is excess to Camino needs, pending your return. Clearly, they have the ability to store your excess luggage. You need to inquire as to the arrangements and cost.
