Time of past OR future Camino
Fall 2023
I am planning to walk the Camino from Lisbon to Santiago in September, but have heard that the popular Albergue de Alpriete is now closed permanently. There are also mentions on the Net about a different routing being planned out of Lisbon for the first day. Does anyone have any updates on these developments? Thanks.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Apparently there is a new seaside boardwalk exiting Lisbon being constructed much like the Coast Route leaving Porto. The construction completion is supposed to be in connection with the Pope's visit to Lisbon early in August for World Youth Day from 1 to 6 August. If I was planning to start a Camino from Lisbon anytime late in July or early in August, I think I would want to read all of the panic being spread about starting from SJPdP around the 1st of May.
