Booking a Horseback Ride to O Cebreiro

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
It is possible, I just dont remember how to do it in advance; I am sure that someone will step in
I know you can call Victor at 638 041823 but when you get "close" (its in Hereiras)
I will let you know though that you will need to transport your backpack from the Albergue you stayed at "that previous night" to the next one. They will not let you ride the horse with it and to my best knowledge do not provide the transport service themselves.
Good luck & Buen Camino

I did this stage with Victor, he was amazing. Has 4 horses and yes, you need to call him or email him. He responds very quickly. You can keep your pack with you on the horse, but wise to use luggage transfer for that stage. Just carry a day pack. It's amazing ride, I loved every moment of it. Definitely worth it. I will be booking again when I do the CF next. I will look for his email and post it on here for you. Enjoy 🐴

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thank you for your replies I have sent an email to book
many thanks

We had the option of wearing the pack or paying a bit and having it and our walking sticks driven up. We ride horses and couldn't imagine being so off balance-- so we sent our packs up by car. Then when we arrived, we realized our walking sticks had been left down the hill! Oh no!! So we had tapas with a spanish family and drank too much while Victor hustled down the hill with the horses and drove the car up again with the hiking sticks. One of our most memorable days!

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
I did this a few days back. For those not used to riding, think carefully about your underwear if you want to avoid saddle sores - it’s a bumpy ride. It’s 50 Euros, by the way.

You can arrange rides the day before from the albergue in Vega de Valcarce.

I think "booking in advance" was meant to contrast with walking up and arranging "day of" instead of with "booking in retrospect".
I understand, TO; I was making a joke on the grammatical double. :D

I hope the weather in Toronto is fabulous and there isn't a chance of flooding as there is in Ottawa and Montreal...

I’ve only ridden a few times in my life so am pretty much a novice. Do you travel in a group with supervision or at you “on your own”?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
It is a group, but that said obviously you are "on your own" as far as your horse is concerned.
IIRC there is a website that addresses some of the questions
Hood luck
